Rise and shine! Today I’m taking you on a caffeinated journey – showing you where to find all cool, hip coffee shops in Las Vegas.
Blueberry lattes, Nitro brews on tap, mouthwatering pastries, and subway tile galore. . . the Las Vegas community is finally turning away from corporate labels and stepping into local shops for their caffeine fix.
I’ll be the first to admit, I was a Starbucks junkie, but recently I’ve grown to love local coffee shops.
Even more so on the weekends when the time is not an issue and I can sit there all day pinning and catching up on work.
So if you’re looking for trendy coffee houses and cafes where the decor is just as attractive as the menu itself then head to one of these seven locations!
Vesta Coffee Roasters
Before you step inside, before the first sip of coffee, stop to enjoy the amazing wall mural on the side of the building (pictured above).
Now you are free to walk into this beautiful modern coffee shop where the warehouse meets IKEA and a giant window gives you tons of natural light, or as some would say, a front row for people watching. P.S. If you don’t know this by now I love my natural light.
Vesta is all about bringing you quality and sustainably green coffee from around the world – from farmer to your cup. Menu items range from cold brews to perfectly crafted cappuccinos sure to satisfy your taste buds.
Seriously though, how do they make those amazing designs with the froth? It’s a mystery to me.
Aside from quality roasts, Vesta offers merchandise ranging from hats and pins to drinkware and even bags of coffee. If you’re visiting, be sure to take a part of Vesta back home with you.

Makers & Finders
Situated in the heart of the Arts District, Makers & Finders is easily attributed to bringing the hip coffee scene in Las Vegas to the surface. But it’s more than just an urban coffee bar. . .
Makers & Finders provides a full tea, matcha, espresso, and coffee bar giving visitors the option of classic or unique crafts from lavender-infused espresso to hand pour over drip coffee.
Fusing all that with a full menu of Latin comfort food means they officially have it all! Come for breakfast and stay until dinner.
Continuing its expansion around the valley, Makers & Finders recently opened its doors to a Summerlin location and will soon be roasting their own coffee beans in Chinatown. Looks like the sky is the limit for this local gem.

PublicUs
Macadamia nut lattes to shaken almond milk coffee paired with your favorite pastry or breakfast dish is a result of creativity and passion. You feel it the moment you walk in.
One thing I can say about PublicUs is they paid attention to the detail. Every turn presents your eyes with something out of the ordinary – Chinese Lanterns, Picnic tables with full trees shooting out from the middle, and giant bacon and eggs on the wall…. that’s just a few of the corners.
This uniquely decorated coffee shop serves up a unique menu that will have you asking the barista to explain every detail, “Excuse me sir Barista, but what’s in this…and that?” Simply because it all sounds amazing and you might have trouble narrowing down your options.
PublicUs is one of the many reasons I enjoy going downtown for they are proof that change is happening. Good change that is.

Bad Owl Coffee
Needing both a coffee and Harry Potter fix? Head to Bad Owl – a Harry Potter inspired coffee bar serving serious coffee with a hint of magic.
When Bad Owl opened, it quickly became national news attracting Harry Potter fans/coffee addicts from all over. Walk into floating Hogwarts letters above your head and towards the back you just might find the portal to platform 9 3/4.
It’s without a doubt the most insta-worthy coffee shop on this list.

Step up to the counter to order one of their potions from nitrobrews to french press, or get a little crazy and try their Butter Brew Latte. I hear it pairs quite nicely with their Wizard Meltdown sandwich.
What’s not to love about a coffee shop that pays some sirius respect to the Wizarding World we all know and love? Coffee anyone? Always

Mothership Coffee Roasters
Of all the coffee shops on this list, Mothership is by far the most hidden. The reason being it’s super residential – tucked away in an old shopping center in Green Valley next to a Trader Joes and dry cleaners, or better known as, my neighborhood.
Yet once you step into this cozy little place, it will quickly become your favorite secret spot, and you will wish even fewer people knew about it so you could have it all to yourself. Then again, it’s so good you will want to tell the world!
Simplicity is what makes Mothership so perfect. Try their Nitro Brew on tap or a single shot cappuccino paired with a muffin or croissant.
Also, if you low key have a thing for floors (#ihavethisthingwithfloors) then you’re going to want to snap a photo for Instagram. Mothership was without a doubt decorated with Instagram in mind.

Sweet Box
Just when you thought you’ve seen all there is to see and drank all the coffee combinations out there, Sweet Box comes in to give you even more “outside the box” drinks from blueberry lattes to their Sweet Box coffee all served with their fluffy in-house whip cream.
And if that wasn’t good enough they have the most delicious treats such as Nutella waffles, gelato, and my favorite, honey bread box – a sweet bread topped with whipped cream, sprinkled with cinnamon and served with gelato. Yummm!
Stay here long enough and you’re sure to leave with a few added pounds. Well worth it though.
Menu aside, I loved the airy feel of this place. In my opinion, it has a strong European coffeehouse vibe, which I love.

Gabi Coffee & Bakery
Hidden behind an unmarked, wooden door lies a coffee shop never thought to exist in Las Vegas. Being the newest “coffee shop” to open its doors, Gäbi’s elegant, intimate, and vintage style sets it far apart from most cafés.
Although their coffee is roasted in-house, their most unique feature is their premium bakery located INSIDE a giant glasshouse (yes, there is a house within a café.)
Some of their most popular items include the Lychee Rose Cake, Danmee Cake, Cream Kiss, and The Gabi. With a little jiggle from the lychee on the bottom layer, the Lychee Rose Cake is a beautifully crafted dessert that has just the right amount of sweetness if sweet treats are not for you.
If you don’t know where to start – I don’t blame you. Gabi is a place you have to experience for yourself… and you probably won’t want to leave once you’re there.

What an awesome list! I love coffee and finding good coffee shops is always on my to do list when traveling. I had no idea Vegas had so many great ones! I visit 2-3 times a year and will definitely check some of these out.
The coffee scene is definitely growing here. Glad you enjoyed the post and hope you visit soon!
OOOO, I’m not in coffee but I bet I can find an awesome chai latte at a few of those as well. On the other hand, the hubby LOVES coffee and all of these places look fantastic. We’ll be getting coffee at one or more than one of these places the next time we’re in Vegas.
I was just in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago, but sadly I didn’t go to any of these places. I’m a huge Harry Potter fan so I’d love Bad Owl coffee. But all of the coffee shops look interesting. I’ve never had a blueberry latte, so I’d like to try one.
You’ve found some incredibly quirky places there! Macademia nut latte’s sound awesome. I’m not so sure about a lavender infused espresso though but I’d definitely give it a go.
As a coffee fanatic, I really enjoyed reading about all these coffee shops. If I ever make my way down to Las Vegas, I’ll be sure to try them all. I particularly enjoyed your description of Sweetbox.
I am more of a tea person but I do enjoy my occasional coffee. Of all the places you have listed, I am drawn the most towards Sweet Box because of their blueberry lattes. Sounds yum. And I also like the sound of the honey bread box.
It’s been so long since I’ve been in LV and I can see that coffee culture has come a long way, and is continuing to ring the changes even now. I am totally up for trying a blueberry latte and I’ve never had a nitro brew before! Each coffee shop you have chosen looks ace but I particularly want to go to Bad Owl Coffee and geek out on the HP theme!
I have visited Las Vegas several times and it has never occurred to me to explore their coffee shops so your post actually got me excited! I’m particularly interested with PublicUs, Bad Owl Coffee, Sweet Box, and Gabi Coffee & Bakery. We’ll be visiting Las Vegas in June so we will probably check out these coffee shops!
Yes you must! Tons of cute cafes and coffee shops opening on the daily
Wow, these are certainly some unique coffee shops and from the looks of it, it is must visit. The blueberry latte and the honey bread box at the Sweet Box sound delicious. If I happen to visit Las Vegas, I will definitely visit at least one of these coffee shops!
I have visited Makers and Finders and really like the place. Their menu presenters shows huge variety of coffees.
I happy to hear that you enjoyed yourself. Thank you for commenting.
